GOVERNANCE / REFERENCE SPECIFICATION
Authority Is Not a Label
Delegated authority as a temporal, scoped and revocable object that must be re-established at the moment of consequential action.
Working thesis
An identity, role or signed request does not establish present authority. Authority is a time-bound relationship among a subject, action, resource, jurisdiction, limit, policy revision and delegating institution. A consequential system must evaluate that relationship at commit time and bind the result to the resulting trajectory.
Research questions
- 01
Which exact action and resource were delegated—and under which policy revision?
- 02
Did jurisdiction, limits, revocation state or delegated scope change between planning and commit?
- 03
Can a downstream agent prove the authority it inherited without widening that authority?
